I was on the auction train. I thought the event was great. I had a blast and won't ever forget it. I love this picture right here. The picture has me and my friend Aaron looking back at Midway waving at all the people that gathered to watch the ceremony.

This was a cool article about my friend Aaron that the Sandusky Register posted.

Thanks Jeff and Walt for having so many pictures and video of the event.

Why did you guys choose that seat? Just curious.

I'm pretty sure that's NOT the answer. Read the article.

Is there any chance that skydiver bringing the flag to the front gate was a Pointbuzz [Edit: Er... Coasterbuzz. Forgot which site I was at] member?

The skydiver ended up canceling over weather concerns. That guy is not the same person as the skydiver here and on PointBuzz (who I hear would have been a better option :) )

I think it's great that Magnum gets the credit it deserves. I was wondering if any other Cedar Point rides received the same attention Magnum did on opening day.

Aaron chose seat 2-1 because that's his favorite seat.. You get lots of air like 1-3 and with legroom. :) That's where he always sits.

I think they turned on the fog machines you could smell it. But I do believe it was way to windy that day. The trims were off much of the day because oh high winds.
