Magnum Voiceover

There have been many times when I've ridden Magnum and noticed the odd background music playing during the autospiel. Anytime I hear something similar to that now it reminds me of Magnum.

Is that tune just computer generated at random and inserted into the spiel? Or is it an actual song?

If it's an actual song, does anyone know the name?

Speaking of the lift voice, can anyone hear more than 3 seconds of it at a time?

I think they just do a standard auto-spiel and had music dubbed under the voice at the time of recording. No need to go to all the effort of having a computer randomly insert it under the voice...

Unfortunately anybody staying in Camper Village can hear the Magnum lift announcement over and over and over again. The last two Halloweekends ('02 & '03) I can remember it starting around 10:30 am and lasting until 12:30am or 1:00am at night. I might be wrong, but I think Gemini also had/has a lift announcement that played/plays constantly.

If there's something in the autospeil, I'd ask TekGuy over at PointBuzz. That guy can recite the whole thing from memory, with the tones and inflections. Then ask him about the bathroom autospeil. Funny!

I can't recal what you guys are talking about. Is this voiceover only during Holloweekends? I was there in August, I don't remember any voiceovers, especially on the lift hill...

From the Soak City parking lot, you can hear the whole thing, but sure as heck not when your on Maggie.

When on the ride all you can basically hear is

"...o Magnum, please do n..."

Kind of pointless if you ask me to have it play on the lift... waste of precious electricity... ;)
