PP isn't the only shoot-the-chutes with magnetic braking, the two Jurassic Park rides use "eddy current" brakes as well.
Jurassic Park didn't always have magnetic braking...that is a rather recent addition. Its made the Hollywood version rather "dry" compared to how it used to run.
