Magical Waters...

Anyone heard of it? I saw it twice on my trip to Wisconsin this weekend. It's right by a toll booth in Illinois, and has a few slides, including what APPEARS to be a Master Blaster. Unfortunatly I got no photos of it...

Its called Magic Waters and its run by the Rockford Park District. They do have a Master Blaster.

You can access their website here

I was tempted to force my family to go, but then I remembered it was like 40* out there and closed...

Thanks for the link though. I was wondering if it was some rundown/cancelled park because I hadn't heard of it here at the buzz.

I updated the link to include the header page. This park has been mentioned before but it gets overlooked here because its a stand alone waterpark. It isn't attached to an amusement park.

It is Illinois largest waterpark and has a good variety of water rides. It shouldn't be missed during the summer months if you are in the area.

The last time I visited the park was before the water coaster was added. But it was always nice and clean, had friendly staff (unlike Noah's Ark, IMO). If the park is half as nice as it used to be it is worth the stop if you are in the area.

The park is really cool. It is around Rockford I believe. I went this summer and have been there like 5 times. The master blaster is great. It gives little pops of air that are really good. long wait though, but it was really good. great flumes, the interactive area is really nice, and the wave pool is good. all in all a great waterpark. much better than racing rapids (by santa's village)

This is my favorite wter park. My mom loves it though she cannot stand temperatures below 60ยบ or coasters. The water "coaster" is called SplashBlaster. It's quite nice, if you let go of the handles during the first drop, (when you're alone) you're in for a surprise!
