Dang, I was hoping for something that was actually state of the art. A SLC misses that definition by a long shot. So, Hot Springs residents... VOTE NO!!

And to think, I was considering putting off a trip this year to ride that "state of the art"
coaster that was coming next year...

I told ya'll that "state of the art" was *very* broad in scope and that no one should get their hopes up for anything spectacular.

What may not be considered state of the art for some parks is state of the art for others.

For Magic Springs, from my understanding is by no means to the level of a Six Flags, Paramount, or Cedar Fair park, an SLC would be a major investment and could be considered state of the art for the market they are located in.

So don't just bash an SLC just because it's not "state of the art". Consider where the ride is going first.

X Factor

Very true, but for the same price one could purchase a small B&M inverter. An SLC may be a bad investment in the eyes of enthusiasts, but the public could care less who makes the ride.
