Magic Mountain's new rides continue to come a long slowly

Deja Vu's loop is now complete. Work continues for X, and some new track has arrived. Some footers have been poured, anda ton are being prepared. Check out ACN for the pics.

I got the impression that X would be built over ugly parking lot asphalt. Doesn't look that way to me. Thanks Jeff, these are some pretty great photos once again, particularly Riddler's Revenge. I'm iching to ride that right now.

It's a prototype ride, they are just making sure every part of it is done correctly. It may not be til next year before it's ready. From what SFMM has built in the last few years, I think the thrillseekers can wait, something to look forward to next year

Thanks for saying that Michael. Everyone seems to be an expert on building coasters efficiently all of a sudden. I guess if it never gets built, we'll just be "stuck"with Goliath, Riddler's Rvenge, Viper, Batman, Superman, Ninja and Deja Vu. "rolling eyes".....

If you're gonna build a "prototype" coaster in earthquake-prone southern california, especially one like X, I say, TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!
X will be complete this year. It all depends on how long the ride going to be. Expect X around July( if they start building right away) if they don't start building now then probally August or something. I don't know, X's opening is a toss up. As for Deja Vu, it's a giant boomerang! I took a trip to SFMM Friday, and Deja Vu's loop is huge! By the looks of it, the loop was bigger than Psyclone. Well we can say Deja Vu's inversions puts B:TR's inversions to shame in size. Can't wait till Deja Vu opens and X in the near future.

Psyclone has a drop of 95 feet probably stands no more the 100 to 105 feet.
Deja Vu Drops 196 feet,the Spikes stand 196 feet, the Cobra is 110 feet tall and the loop stands 102 feet tall.
The only thing bigger on that side of the park is Riddlers Revenge, but wait until X is built it will make all the other rides expect Superman:TE and Goliath like like kiddy rides lol have any of you seen how big the track is in person. Unlike anything i've ever seen before, The color might not look intimidating but when you pull into the park and see the sheer size of that monster your hearts are going drop.
After most people see the size of it and then see it in action some will need a change of clothes lol. Anyway as many people SFMM has working on X I don't think Vertical construction will take long.
Hopefully testing wont either, so I see a july 4th opening advertisements will go out billing at as SFMM X-treme Independence day blast. The park with be filled to capacity and it will all go down in history.

Deja Vu is built? thats fast,, at my park, SFGA,, its going up very well,, but, I dont know, to me,, the ride doesnt look that big.. now V2 is pretty high. How are the trains at MM?? are they the v -shaped ones too? I thought they were gonna be face offs
