Magic Mountain Hotel Transportation?

Well we'll be at Magic Mountain probably around the 21st and 22nd. We have reservations for one night at The Hilton Garden at Magic Mountain. They claim to be the closest hotel to the park and I looked at an aerial shot, and it is!

But this leads me to my question. I looked hard on there site to see if they have any shutte to Sfmm but I coudn't find anything on a shuttle. For anyone whos been in the area, do any hotels have a shuttle to the park? I dought anyone would know but, does ours, even though they don't mention anything about it?? I would think they do but they don't say anything about it. I couldn't even find an email adress to write to them and ask. I'll see if we can call but for now I thought I'd get the help from you guys. Thanks for the help if ya have it.

coastingohio - you couldn't have planned your trip at a better time! The repairs for X are planned to be finished on the 18th and o.s.h.a. will be inspecting X on the 19th and hopefully giving it the final OK to reopen.

Oh yeah-the shuttle, i've never stayed at the hotel but i think i've seen a shuttle leaving the park before.

Actually, if X passes the inspection, you really might have a chance to ride X.
Anyways, the Hilton Garden Inn is located right at the base of the mountain of SFMM, it is located directly across from the entrance of the road up to Six Flags Magic Mountain.
No hotels offer any kind of shuttle service to SFMM mainly because the two close hotels are both within walking distance from SFMM.

Yea there are no hotel shuttles to the park. It kinda sucks tho since that's a pretty big hill to walk up just to get to the entrance.

So how far are we talking??? What time should we leave in morning if we want to get to the park at around 9:55????

Thanks, I saw the news on X. I'm going to hopefully check it out on this site or Acn on around the 20th to see if it's all sorted out. I hope to beable to check it out though because we'll be on our cruise at that time. I saw they have an internet cafe on our cruise so I hope I can get on and check it out to see if it'll be operating the next day.

Thanks Again.

Sorry for the delay...I was out of town...When I stayed at that same hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) they _DID_ have a shuttle that operated only during specific hours (I don't remember the hours specifically).

I just callled the hotel 661-254-8800 and they do still have the shuttle. It costs $2 per person/day and they run it in the morning around opening time and at night around closing time.

As far how long to give yourself to walk to the park from the hotl...It took me 15 minutes plus the one day I decided to take a break mid-day...

I stayed across the expressway last February, and walked both days to and from the park. It was about a ten or fifteen minute walk from the hotel to the front gate. The hike up the hill isn't that bad, and is a good primer for the trek you'll be in for once you get inside the park. :)

Hope everything works out for you, and X is ready to go.
