Magic Mountain - how crowded in June?

Hi,

I´m from Brazil and I´ll be in LA end of June from Sunday 21st to Wednesday 24th and want to know if somebody has an idea how crowd the park should be by that time of the year. Since I have many places to visit I don´t want to loose much time in lines and want to know if does it worth to purchase the gold flash pass, or if is not needed by this time of the year?

I also have doubts about the same regarding Universal Studios........

One more detail, does it make any difference going sunday or other week day?

Thanks for the help.

^^That's sort of when I plan to be there, and I think you'll be fine. But although I frequently work from a company satellite office in El Segundo and my BFF lives in Hermosa Beach, I'm still no local try as I might!

Also, the 21st (Sunday) is Father's Day in the US, for however that might help or not help things...usually a holiday like that would keep crowds lower.

Edit to add: For MM, I always get Gold Flash Pass! If for any reason, even on slow days X2, Terminator and Deju Vu will have lines.

It should be moderately crowded, as Southern California public schools are generally out for summer by then.

DO NOT VISIT on the weekend if possible.

The crowds will be what they will be. Being in town for only 4 days means that you are stuck with what happens, and you have no recourse if things are not what you hoped for.

Basic rules of major parks in major populations if you have only one day to ride... Arrive before opening and hit what you can before whatever crowds that WILL get there actually arrive. Skip the rides nearest the entrance until later. Hit the "unpopular" rides during the peak afternoon times. Stay late.

In other words, prepare for the worst & hope for the best.

Pass da' sizzrup, bro!
