Maggie Valley seeks identity without Ghost Town

Business owners in the valley have felt the painful economic impact of Ghost Town’s closure. Vacancy signs linger over the town’s commercial corridor, while vacant buildings for sale have become an all too common sight.

Ghost Town in the Sky

I did notice a few places for sale on our drive through there a couple weeks ago. We stopped at a gift place that had a tower you could go up and take in the view. Beautiful view, you could even see Ghost Town in the distance. When we were leaving I noticed that the place was for sale.
