Hey everyone. I just wanted to say is there any kind of magazine that I could purchase at Borders or something like that that has stuff on coasters? I mean, photos, reviews of rides/parks, stuff like that.

Thanx!

If you join ACE then they will send you magazines, but I don't know of any that you can buy off the shelf. You can find some back issues on ebay of various coaster magazines.

Besides the ACE Newsletter, Amusement Today (Knoebels Resort has a lot of back issues in one of their gift shops) is great as it has all kind of ride announcements and ads for the various ride manufacturers, some of whom you may not have heard of. In reality though, Coasterbuzz will probably provide you with more pictures, and reviews than any magazine could, and it's up to the minute coverage. While they may not be as current, many of the books are worth a read including "The American Roller Coaster" by Scott Rutherford. Also worth checking out is the ACE Guide to Ride (title?), which has pictures of coasters from every single park in America.------------------
If you have a problem with clones, the solution is real simple—Stop traveling.
