From the Disney Parks Blog:
In this all-new attraction, Luigi will turn the tire storage yard behind his Casa Della Tires into a dance floor! Cars Land guests will be able to ride along with Luigiās cousins as they move and spin to upbeat Italian music, performing the traditional dances of their hometown village.

Meh. It looks alright, but I think it will have to be seen in person and experienced. It looks like it's very crowd-interactive. I mean, anything is better than poorly implemented air-hockey style bumper tires, but I think I'd have liked to see something more rider-interactive/controlled.
It really looks amazing, very cool and well done.
From a rider's perspective, though, it sort of seems like it will just be a slow version of a teacups ride.
Hi
I think I'd go bonkers over this, too. What a unique concept, although Disney has something similar to this [in Tokyo, is it?] that moves on the water. It certainly appears magical as they move in a choreographed way, and the fact that each ride is different will make it fun to watch for a while as well. It's family-style all the way, but I agree that maybe just a tish faster would make it more fun.
I think you're talking about DisneySea's Aquatopia. Not one of my favorite rides at The World's Most Beautiful Theme Park, but one we enjoyed several times. We were surprised by how much we enjoyed the ride we like to call It's A Small Sinbad.

Yea, Aquatopia was one of those seriously pointless rides, that is better enjoyed inebriated. the awesomeness of Journey to the Center of the Earth totally makes up for it.
This looks really cool. It's almost a super advanced Cuddle Up which was one of my favourite rides as a kid. As long as this isn't a technical disaster, I bet this will be a big hit.
I'm a huge Cuddle Up fan, probably my fave flat ride of all time. I thought of it when I watched this. Mater's ride actually is one, so there's that.
It reminds me of Aquatopia, which I didn't really care for. I think kids will love it - odd that it was all adults in the promo.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

Well if this counts as one, you would love California Adventure. There would be three of them now...
I had to think about it, but you're right: Luigi's, Mater's, and Francis' Ladybug boogie.
