Dorothy Burnett was just eight years old back in 1930 -- yes, she's 88 now, with a memory clear as clean glass -- and she tells the story of the day her mom Dora and her dad James Robertson took her and her brothers for a drive in east Vancouver. They had moved here from Edmonton only two years previously, so were still exploring the place, and when dad loaded the whole gang into the car, she thought they were going to a park.
