Love Thread: Knott's Berry Farm and GhostRider (haters stay away)

Made my first visit to Knotts just this past Tuesday. The weather was pretty bad, in fact it rained hard and steady from 2:00 pm on. Yet, even on a crappy, chilly, wet day, I had a blast!

GhostRider? Wonderful! It jumped to #4 on my woodie list, just after Phoenix and ahead of ST, Raven, Legend. Rough? If folks think GR is rough, well, I don't even know how to respond! Wooden goodness, through and through.

Silver Bullet? Swell! Must say wasn't expecting much. Not sure why really but after the first overbank, I was hooked. Not one head bang, plenty forceful for me, one dead spot, one spot of air (on an invert, no less). Not sure where I'd rank it amongst inverts but let's try...Montu, Talon, Fire, Ice, let's stick it here, Great Bear, B:TR and Raptor. That's about #22 out of 100 steelies.

Xcel? Yes! Monte? Si! Jaguar!? Grrrreat! Even the blasted Boomerang was smooth! No Plunge in that weather but that thing looks sick. Really.

Timber Mtn? Calico? Heck, even the Train Ride was fun, until we got held-up at gun point! It's those touches that makes KBF better than most.

Guys, I rode in a stagecoach! First time for me and it was pretty cool.

And the chicken was good, too.

Count me in!

"... and the chicken was good, too..."

Why on earth is the chicken an afterthought?

Blasphemy! It should be your first observation! ;)

Ghostrider is my favorite Woody. I rode this coaster 24 times in one day when I was at S Ca late February. If the rides were rough, I could not have done this. Then again, I have done SoB 10 times in a row.
