You will be there in spirit Mooshy. :-)

"if you attend only one coaster event"... and it may be the only one I attend as I am still recovering from a car acident. Now I need to build up to the 8 hour drive - Cornball's quite an incentive, though!

I am SO there!

Certain victory.

This seems really cool. I hope I can save enough money to go!

As if I didn't have enough of a reason to make the twelve hour trek. I am so there, can't wait.

Wow, this is very tempting, as I have never been to Indiana Beach, but want to go there. Guess I'll have to get my club membership, as this might be a great event I don't want to miss.
To quote Peter Griffin: "Sweeeeeeeeeeet!" I can finally get my first Skycoaster ride. Thanks for the link Dave!

Well, I was wondering what I was going to do in August......

Anyone still planning on attending this? I only saw one other person listed on the calendar.

Cany anyone give me a good lodging suggestion for my first trip there? I see the two properties they have listed but what else is there? On my multi-park trip last year I made a few bad hotel choices (never trust the Days Inn website).

I'm there too Brad! I'm sooooo excited!

My Beautiful wife, Julia, is the best thing that has ever happened to me!

Frantic,
The Beach is offering 10% discount for 2 nite stay. Also, a B&B, Black Dog Inn, is supposed to be very nice.

This site has lots of help on accomodations:

Thanks for the suggestions Dave. That will really help me out. A B&B would be really nice, so I'll take a look at that.
I DEFINITELY recommend the Black Dog Inn. it adds a tremendous level of class to the trip. But if you're trying to save money, there's a great campground with a connecting water ferry.

I took your advice and booked Black Dog Inn. $158 is a steal for a B&B, especially since they wanted $291 for the Beach Inn. See you all in 3 weeks!
