Lost Coaster Still lost for this weekend

For those planning on attending Indiana Beach this upcoming weekend and planning on giving the Lost Coaster Of Superstition Mountain a ride or two, please note that I got a call tonight from a 'very reliable source' who told me that the new coaster won't be open this weekend.

No date has been announced yet as far as a opening goes but from what I was told to post, it won't be open this weekend.

Thanks for letting us know. I got an email with the same news. I'm sure this will put a damper on the weekend for those on the meeting calendar, but know that IB is still full of some amazing thrills. Sorry everyone. :( But you'll still get to see it from every angle (riding the skyride should be good), not to mention conquer the famous CE! There's plenty to do at IB no matter which ride session you choose.

Brad, we rode the skyride on media day and I got some pretty decent shots of "Locosumo". I'll post them in a few.

I say we "kill the messenger"....j/k, bummer news Sean, but we'll still go the day after SRM....first trip to IB and the Cornball......thanks for the onfo, if not the news.....

Wow, what disappointing news. I really hope they can open it soon!

Just really stinks that I will not get to ride it this season as it stands now. I'll be there gawking at it on Sunday.

From the news though, I'm assuming that it will open soon, am I right? I'm planning on getting there sometime this year, so I'm assuming that it'll be open when I get over there (probably sometime after mid-June).

Brilliant headline. Man, that gets a +5 in my book.
