Ill be up there memorial day to ride it, I hope its finished by then!

It should be open by May 30th (Memorial Day) if all goes well! Official opening day is May 17th...I can't wait...it's looking to be more than I expected!

This ride will be so great, weaving in and out of that mountain. The horseshoe is getting juiced up considerably. I originally thought that they would utilize it basically the way it was, but this is all way more than I originally thought. I know that the part where you come out of the 2nd floor, turn around and come back through the bottom floor is going to be fantastic.

Glitch - I've seen the 17th thrown around different boards as the opening date, but never anywhere "official." How accurate is your source? I'm not being skeptical, I'm just figuring out when I should set the wheels in motion for my first trip to IB this year. :)

IB has,publicly, on several occasions stated that the tentative media day for Lost Coaster is set for May 17th.

Construction has been slowed, due to the crummy Indiana weather and even after the coaster is complete, there is still lots of work to do, i.e. testing, inspections, etc.

The park will most likely make the 17th official, when it becomes apparent that Lost Coaster will be ready to roll on that date.
