Jennifer Lobb, then 15, lost her mother's class ring in 1997 while visiting Kentucky Kingdom. A worker cleaning up the park recently found the ring and returned it to the mother.

Just further proof that Six Flags doesn't clean their parks...
I literally LOL'd when I read that...thanks!
In March of '04 right after the sale of SFWoA to CF, I found some kids wallet in the ivy under the trim brakes of Serial Thriller / Thunderhawk. So I stuffed it in my SFWoA winter jacket and promptly forgot to turn it in. Then the weather broke, and so the jacket hung in my closet for the next 9 years (since it was now obsolete)....with the wallet still in it. I found it this summer and managed to get a hold of a relative of the kid via Facebook. No response from the kid, but I'd feel guilty spending the money in it (like $8). So Jason in Wisconsin.....I still have your wallet!
I'm surprised somebody in Kentucky graduated from high school...

Um... yeah,...that was me, but I, uh, live in Columbus now. Please sent it immediately.
Reminds me of a joke:
I was at this convention, see, and I lost my wallet. I went to the microphone and said "To the man that finds and returns my wallet with the hundred dollars in it, I will give ten dollars."
A voice in the back yelled "I'll give twenty dollars."
This story bothers me just a little.
The class ring was found when the Pirat gondola was being cleaned and rehabbed.
What does that suggest about the maintenance that Six Flags was doing at Kentucky Kingdom?
