Lord Gonchar...HELP!!

Lord Gonchar,

When I try to load your Mystic Acres, it takes ten minutes to load and then the screen goes blank and goes to the desktop, no message or anything. I even tried to re-download it, but still nothing. Does this happen to anyone else? What does this mean? I have all of the requirements of the game, too. What is this? *** Edited 2/6/2005 8:39:50 PM UTC by jcoaster***

It's such a big file and game your computer can't handle it. I'm sure you aren't the first one to have this problem.

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.
The same thing has happend to me, accept I get some error message... I don't know how to help you with your problem.

I just got a brand new computer about two weeks ago so I know it's not that. *** Edited 2/6/2005 8:41:33 PM UTC by Corkscrewy***

i'm not sure what to put here..

No it's not your PC heck you could have a 50,000 dollar PC and this game still wouldn't work right. The game needs an exterminator because it's full of BUGS!!!!!! Then on top of this they plan a water park expansion, i can't even see the water in the RCT3 game. :O(
Well here, Mystic Acres ran, just barely then like 5 mins later my comp froze, and it takes alot to do that, I've ran some high end games on this sucker and it hasn't froze only with rct3! Its a nice park, but if you want your pc to survive, well don't load it, until we get some perfomance updates, lol!

Not much I can do to help. If it's taking your system down, then there's too much in therre for your system to handle. Stick with smaller parks for now.

Corkscrewy.. don't forget: age of the computer has nothing to do with it - it's the tech specs that matter. "New" does not mean high tech.. especially on budget systems under $1000.

Exactly! Why do people make this new comparison thing only in the world of computers? I've seen this kind of thing posted over and over in the Atari forums and a bit here too. I don't get it.

If you buy a new Volkswagon, does that mean it will run like a Porche 911 simply because you bought it last week? No.

Just as with cars or anything else, there are different price points. A new cheaper computer is cheaper for a reason! And yet I see all the time where people expect it to run everything simply because of it's age. Which has nothing to do with it. Even the date you bought it isn't somehting to go by. The system could have been on the shelves for months.

It's all about the specs!
