Loopy? We've been robbed a little!

Box track from Intamin??? Giga cars???? Diving Loops??? High angle banked drops/turns??? Kind of disappointing if you ask me. Hope he adds them at a later date. For example, it would be kind of cool if you could bank the track on a steep dive like the kind of turns you'd find on a real coaster. Where's the 80 degree descent angle for an Intamin coaster? Why not make the shuttle looper like Montezumas revenge to allow a pass through the station on the return? Where's the camel back instead of having what looks like a gut wrenching twist?

For the money made off of this game, I think Chris could have gone for a few changes that would have benefited the game. Other than that, it's alright, the covered station add to the overall image of the game. A darker red brick would be nice for walls as well. Setting the ride cost to the same dollar value as the exctement ratin will allow you to make enough money to complete "any" scenario, just keep an eye on them as the excitement levels do change from time to time on some of the rides.

Windows ME notes... the way that ME runs programs, it minimizes files used (i.e. music files) the game will pause occassionally to search for a file as you move around the park. This is not a game problem. When I ran it on my PIII/1Ghz with a 16 MB graphics card and digital sound card it is very smooth, PII tends to slow a bit.

Also, being able to construct an actual building would be pretty cool too. Maybe he'll have another add on in the future. This one is average for all the hype. They then have the nads to charge $29.99 and require the instructions etc for a refund... Anyone else throw those un-helpful instructions out?
Before I forget... An extra large helix up/down would have been nice too! The small and large are a bit tight for a Hyper/Giga. A note for Hyper/Giga builders... Use a lim hill on the steel twister for the lift hill. Build to max heights and all the way down to 1 on the ground. You can break 120 MPH.
That LIM lift was in CF, I've been doing that for a year.

I don't feel cheated at all, and I'm having a good time with it. The "finish the coasters" scenarios are kind of silly, but other than that I like the additions. Given the speed at which the game was released, I'm not surprised it's missing a few things, and I also wouldn't be surprised if the game's data structure limits what you can add.

The steep bank turn is what I still miss, perhaps for the steel twisters in particular, but again, I wonder if it has something to do with the game's data structure. Someone out there diagramed it once, and there wasn't much room for additional things.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance on Windows Me, but I have noticed you need decent 2D video hardware and drivers. It's slow on my laptop (laptop video hardware is notoriously cheap) even though it has a significantly faster processor than my various desktops.

I'm happy with it. I'm just glad for the new themes. I just wish they worked on more flat rides. They have what at least 20 coaster types and only about 10 thrill rides and 15 mild rides. Maybe if there's another add on.

if you do a LIM lift all the way up and go as far as possible down , and then right away do another full lim lift up , you can hit 140mph+
Why? to kill'em?

If you Ride the Magnum enough, You may get hy-per!
I have a coaster that all it does is lim and drop for 120,000 ft. of track. Let's just say the peeps didn't ride it. It got up to 212 mph.
Question, I have RCT and just bought CF before I was aware that LL was coming out which I'm pissed about since CF comes with LL. I was wondering if, with each new add on, do you lose the ability to do anything from the previous version? Also, with all that I have been hearing about LL it sounds quite different senerio wise. Are they that much more difficult that you would need cheats? I dont want to use any cheats but don't want to be stuck in a senerior forever. I'm still just finishing up the scenarios form the first game.
Andre, I believe you can load a game from CF with the LL disk in. This way you can now add the LL stuff to your CF scenarios (I believe this is how it works). This means that you only need the LL disk whenever you play it. As far as scenarios go, I haven't gotten that far. Just be careful on the one with NO finances.....it is harder than you think to keep a constant minimum rating of 700 while trying to get 2,000 peeps in there!

Skyboss, I agree with some of the needed track elements. I personally would love tilted loops for B&Ms and a couple more variations of diving turns and drops, so that some of these real coasters can be faithfully re-created. However, I find myself so caught up in the new stuff he DID put in, that I soon forget about what I wanted. I cannot get over the fun I am having, especially with the new hyper trains. They seem more Morganish, but they look fantastic on my Magnum. And three 6 car trains too! Being an artist, I also tend to lean more towards theming and visuals, so I almost love this add-on than the previous one.

coaster punk, I would love to see more flat rides too! I have heard that LL is the last add-on, and I have heard it is not. We'll just have to see. What I wouldn't give for a skywheel, spider, rock-o-plane, loop-o-plane, high roller, frisbee, bayern kurve (complete with that insanely annoying horn!), and ring of fire!!!!

PS....right now LL is $17.99 at BEST BUY!!!!!

First rule of Stormtroopers: Pee BEFORE you put on the uniform!
I hate to admit it, but Loopy Landscapes did dissapoint me ba lot.
I think people got too hyped up on it. People were saying from the beginning that this wouldn't have much in terms of new rides, but instead the expansion pack would expand on the scenery aspect of the game.

I think Chris Sawyer delivered on everything he said. As for the Inatim box track and so on. Well, some people have to stop believing everything they read or hear. Most of those rumors came off of a wish list which someone misunderstood for a list of what was coming out. Make sure you triple check every source before you believe anything.

You build it, I'll ride it
The idea of the game is still fun. It's just that the senarios completely suck this time out. I can understand making the game slightly more challenging, but the formatting is off. I find myself getting bored with LL and instead retreating back to CF.
