We've got plenty of room at Six Flags America if they want to send it east. Of course, if it rides anything like Great American Scream Machine at Great Adventure, maybe that's not such a good idea.

I agree the pictures were nice, and I was especially happy to see the first pictures (for me anyway) of Roller Soaker in action.

If you want expensive rides, you're going to pay for them, in one way or another. *** This post was edited by Intamin Fan on 10/16/2002. ***

Very sad indeed. The parking lot at Great America will never be the same. (I mean that in the most sincerest of ways :)) I will miss this ride, and frankly, anyone who has attended Great America on a regular basis should feel the same. This ride was a big part of Great America, no matter how look at it. If you didn't like the ride itself, then you'll agree that Shockwave was an eye candy ride.

Now the only problem is getting over the fact that someone else will have our ride next year, and not being able to hear the sweet sound of and Arrow made lift hill every morning before entering the park. Of course, we will have the B&M roar to make up for that part of it... :)

Very funny indeed. Another Arrow bites the dust.

Well, we know who really loves coasters here. Too bad Shockwave is going. Superman really has something it's going to have to live up to. I don't feel that any modern coasters will be built that will be able to pull some of the forces that you would feel on those loops on Shockwave. Too bad it's going.
Glad to see all the coaster pictures from SFGA. I have not been there in 3 years, and now I want to go as soon as the next season opens!
