Looking for trip info for Donrey/Kennywood/HersheyParks??

www.kennywood.com has a lot of info

and at KW you can take your own picnic baskets and coolers and stuff. You don't have to eat their food even though we got the best food anywhere. The Potatoe Patch fries are always good. They have a Big Taco/Nacho stand across from the king kahuna, that searves a variety of things. There is a Gyro stand next to the racer that is good. There are funnel cake places all over the park. There are other food places all over the park that are great. At KW, no mattere how long the lines are for the rides, you will be able to ride every ride in the park at least 2wice lol. Depending on what time you actually show up at the park. Just put it this way, on busy days the longest lines are for the Phantom's Revenge and the Exterminator. 45min-hour wait thats it. All the other lines for coasters are usually just 15-25 minutes if that. My advice would be to get there early when there are basically no lines.

45 minute wait for Exterminator when we went, but it was worth it!

I think all parks should have rides like KW's Exterminator & Hersheypark's Wild Mouse so the younger crowd can make an easier and quicker transition to the larger rides/coasters.

Something unique we all enjoyed at Kennywood was their variety of flavors, like sour apple green, for their slushies, which come in their own collectable KW wine-glass style plastic cup.

What is the best seat on Storm Runner? I was thinking the obvious, either front or back.

CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick

Sky Princess *is* an excellent ride...but the rest of the park really reminded me more of a poor-man's LegoLand....only without the Lego blocks. (See - I didn't say Legos, LOL). Just forced to wonder what is the rationale behind the admi$$ion price at DW...since I can usually find tickets for Hershey at a cheaper price...which weird to me, anyway.

Kennywood is the opposite end of the spectrum, reminding me of Conneaut or Knoebels in that I didn't think I paid *enough* to get in...

Good to see I'm not the ONLY one who thought it was too dark to really *get* the theming inside Exterminator..and the fact that that might actually be my BIGGEST complaint with Da Wood....ROFL!

RatherGoodBear said:I may be there myself that day, depending on whether I go to PKD the day before and how I feel after driving back to PA.

We're actually going to PKD the next day and then BGW a couple days later. :) Thanks for the tip on Giant. Have you heard anything on PKD?
