At least I think it might be the former Laser roller coaster from Dorney Park. Any one know?
Check out those trains.
From RCDB: 'The Laser was purchased by German showman Meyer and Rosenzweig who together operate the "Steiger Achterbahn" company. The roller coaster is now called "Teststrecke", or in English "Testtrack"."
A little hard to read the signage from the picture on your link, but it *might* say "Teststrecke."
edited to ntoe: The trains.....yummy! :~)

Grrrr...*insert muttering, cursing, scowling, and obscene hand gestures here*There are some rare occasions where I hate Cedar Fair. Lazer for Stinger? I'd like to throw something at the CEO.
Laser was a ride I rarely skipped on a trip to Dorney unless it was closed or had a long line because of the slow ride cycle time. I really miss it and its replacement is horrible. I still don't know what Cedar Fair was thinking with Stinger as a replacement. Besides the fact it is rough, they said the problems of it breaking down were fixed and I'm hesitant to ride at all know since I don't feel like getting stuck for 90+ minutes
Oh Laser, how I miss you. :(
I never skipped a ride on Laser no matter how many hundreds of times I have been to Dorney. I always had a smile on my face after riding.
The new trains do look nice, but are not as comfortable as the Schwarzkopf originals. Nice find BTW - I had no idea Teststrecke was for sale. The few times I've seen it it has been doing a roaring trade...
I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.
RaptorJo - Laser had a double-loop. Seems the "Doppel Looping" models were way more often fair-circuit rides....we just got lucky to have one permanently installed in a park.
Scorpion is a "SilverArrow" single-loop model more similar to Viper from SFAW or Silver Bullet from Frontier City...those also had one inversion, but were the more common "Looping Star" models.
