Steel Dragon. Not only is that bad boy 318' tall, but it has over 8,100 feet of track!

The Ultimate is slightly shorter at 7,475

I think this is all correct

You are correct. Steel Dragon has a lift height of 318', a vertical drop of 306' at a 68ยบ angle, speeds of 95mph, and a track length totalling 8,133ft! The second hill drops you 243ft!!! If you survived that plunge, you'll also be treated to a third hill height of 210ft above the ground.

Joe, who realizes the third hill on this monster is taller than every (full circuit) coaster in the US of A except three.

Isn't Millennium Force the longest steel coaster in North America? According to RCDB it is.

California Screamin' is actually longer, at 6800 feet. But since it isn't open to the public yet, MF is still the longest (in North America, of course).

Wow!

Sounds like an awesome roller coaster. How many feet do you think the lift hill takes up?

Maybe some day, some day, I'll make a trip out to Japan and ride that monster..

We'll probably be seeing one in the U.S. soon... maybe a 400 footer? We'll see..

I heard Adventureland, in Des Moines Iowa has been conserving funds for the last 5 years to build a 350ft coaster in 2002

If adventure land actually did that it would be awesome as it is only a short drive to adventureland from Milwaukee, but i doubt adventure land will actually get a 350 foot coaster, maybe a hyper but not 350.

I know that Mich Adv. has approval to build over 200 ft. and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a decent sized ride for Adventureland soon.

It would be nice if Adv.Land got a huge CCI with an ARROW mouse and ARROW mine ride eventually. That would be a great package
