Longest Coaster

What is the longest coaster you ever built? I built a wooden coaster with a track length of 7819ft. Is that long or have you built any thing longer?

Wooden 10,000 ft Cherokee Giant

Steel 10,500 ft Cherokee Titan

Golioath Rocks the west but Millinnium Force Rules The Rest
I don't remember the length (restarted with CF and lost it), but I built a wooden giant in Mega Park - I put up a powered lauch called "Money Maker" because that's literally what it did, and it took about six years to build the wooden coaster using every type of themeing available to send it through. Five lift hills, and what a creature!

I built a Hyper Twister over 11,000 feet in length. The intensity was around 8.6 and the excitment was over 10 (due to underground tunnels and helixes). It was called Metro and had some great Urban theming, which probably added to the excitment as well.
When I get bored with building rideable rides I start a new game and try to build the tallest fastest longest coaster ever. I have built a launched coaster up to 120,000 feet long and something like 180 to 200 miles per hour. The only bad thing is that It would Get slowed up by the launchers when it would go back up so I could never get a ridicoulus speed. It was so awesome the intensity was like in the 30s
I just built a hyper that's 9,250 feet long. I call it Asylum. It's got an intensity of 9.7 and an excitement of 10.05.

I had a coaster that was over 39,000ft of track. I could be wrong though, I could be mistaking it with the intensity rating.

I've made a 125,000 foot coaster, but it had an intensity of over 40, and went 239 MPH. I was posting my longest with an intensity below 10.

How do you guys make the rides go that fast. There is a limit on how fast it goes because of the height marks I tried using a lot launched tracks but still doesnt work. and also how do you make it so long besides getting a lot of money. Those parks dont have alot of room. -james *** This post was edited by # 1 coaster fan on 3/11/2001. ***
They use Trainers.

Spring Break- IOA,BGT,Magic Mountain,Epcot,MGM
I don't use trainers but I do have a few parks of mine that had tons of money, I saved a copy and destroyed everything. Then I use that park as a sandbox. I built a woodie around 15,000 feet long with three lift hills in one these parks.

All time Top 5: (1) Milleniun Force (2) Alpengeist (3) Hulk (4) Ice Dragon (5) Raptor
140,000 ft roughly, no trainer used. It had a bunch of boosters. Had 49 inversions and cris crossed over itself at least 100 times. It took me 2 months to build (real time).
i think i got 200 mph by sending a launched lift hill up as high as possible, then go down, then go up with launched lift hills, then down ...
IT is called skill :). really we just have way to much time on our hands and were are very dormented people. Usethe launched coasters That go up to 60 on the height mark. Once your past 100 mph the real speed comes from the drops. so make your drops as close to vertical as possible.
I made a hyper twister that had nearly 13,000 ft of track and took three minutes to ride. That was because it was launched up the first hill. It had and intensity in the low 9's and the excitement rating was a little higher than that. I made it in Arid Heights where I didn't have to worry about money. I was trying to see how long I could make all of my rides and still have the guests not complaining about intensity or a ride being too long.
I just got done making one of the baddest steel coasters ever. IT is totally amazing. heres the specs
179,000 feet long
intensity 43
max speed 288
average speed 180
goes underground several times.
16 g's
series of interlocking corkscrews, that I call the wave
I build a woodie (comp got re-frmatted, I lost it :( ) but RCT would ask me to check if it were stalled. About 5 min at over 35 after the lift (2 lifts) too intese for riders.
