London Parks

I don't know a lot about foreign parks and my friend asked me to research if there are any parks near london. If there are, can anyone provide me with names?

Alton Towers is the big one. Fantasy Island, and Thrope are both pretty close IIRC.

Alton towers is 3 hours drive from london, Chessington world of adventures and Thorpe park are the closest at about 30 - 40 mins away. Fantasy Island and Blackpool pleasure beach are 3 hours away.
