Log Flume daily safety checks

Regardles of where the water was coming from, during my tenure at the Point, which was over thirty years ago, NONE of the aformentioned bodies of water were clean. Most of the time it resembled what's inside a bottle of Yoohoo before you shook it up.

The water actually moves from the lake to the bay when the wind is out of the northwest or northeast. A lot of mixing is going on and the Sandusky River does not discharge enough water to fill the bay. Much of the bay is the same water found in the lake.

The lake and bay water is actually clean, and surprisingly clear. The murky look you guys think is pollution is really the sand at the bottom being stirred up and mixing with the water in the shallow areas found in most of the bay and near shore lake areas. Go off shore about a mile and the water is very clear.
