My wife and I are heading up to this CF park in Mid July, Tuesday-Friday, and asking for suggestions on close, reasonable places to stay near the park. We have our passports, Platinum passes, and looking for experienced advice from this forum. Thanks in advance. Joe P
Closest to the park are Aloft Vaughan Mills, and the Novotel Vaughan. They are part of a giant outlet mall nearby but you'd still need to drive otherwise it would be a good 25 - 30 minute walk to the park.
Further south there's another entertainment complex at the Highway 7 interchange with restaurants, hotels, movie theatres and a Dave and Busters. Slightly less expensive options there are a Courtyard By Marriott Vaughan and a Monte Carlo Inn. They would be about a 10 minute drive to the park.
There are multiple chain restaurants near both locations. Vaughan was known as a predominantly Italian suburb of Toronto so there's some excellent low key Italian restaurants in the area if you're into that.

Closest I'm aware of is https://www.jellystonetoronto.com/ which is about a half hour north of the park.
CW is similar to CGA where when it was built it was in the middle of nowhere in farm land. Since then, the city has built out to it. Not the same with the office towers at CGA but there's retail, homes, town houses and condos surrounding the park now.
