LoCoSuMo opens

Turns out I'm going to get to go to IB this summer, it's amazing that I found out I live less than 4 and a half hours away. Do you think that if we get to the park at 12:00, 12:30 on June 23 we will have enough time to ride everything without being rushed? Because the followign day we are heading to HW for half the day and the following day because I want to get several laps on both coasters and try out ZOOMbabwe.

SFGAMDie HARD,

I think you will have plenty of time to experience most or what Indiana Beach has to offer. Maybe not quite every nook and cranny. I finally got to ride most of all the rides I have not ridden on my 3rd visit to Indiana Beach. For the most part you will be able to ride what you want to in one ride session. IE: 11-6 or 4-11.

Personally I could not wait before....It's even worse now. Too bad I am heading to CoasterCon XXV otherwise I would go this weekend. Oh well something to look forward to later this summer.

I won't be going until July, so I have a lot to look forward to, first and foremost LoCoSuMo. Dave, do you have any pics of it operating or of the trains with nets?

I also had the privelege of getting a spin on LoCoSuMo this weekend. What a unique experience, I've never seen anything quite like it. Non-stop action the entire way through. Definately a quality product that I'll give some more opinions about in a TR.

Robcoasting certainly doesn't have the slightest clue as to what he's talking about. There are really only two options to place your hands, on the handgrips in the center of the car, or on your lap. If you choose the second option I would suspect you'd get thrown around enough that you'll soon be choosing the first option. I guess my knees got banged up during the ride because I wasn't following directions too.

I'm going down today to give it a go. I'm going to be taking tons of pics too for the site (www.indianabeach.8k.com). Looks like a hit!

A friend of mine was there yesterday and has a page up on LoCoSuMo.

Nice link Dave, some good pics and videos. It makes me even more anxious to ride Indiana CCI #5. I think Indiana has more CCI's than any other state now.

Well, I didn't get to go yesterday and I'm not sure when I can go (hopefully by Friday), so whenever I do, I'll have some pics up.

How long are the lines on Saturdays at IB?
It's varies throughout the season...depending on if company picnics are going on. Saturdays are probably the most busy days for Indiana Beach though throughout the summer.

I changed the CPlaya 100 plans (again?!?!?) so I could hit IB Monday. the park was empty and I only managed one LoCoSuMo ride (rear train, facing forward). It's still very much a work in progress with no scenes installed and quite a bit of excelsior to the left of the ride area. Think of it as a wild mouse/mine train blend of sorts.

I should have some photos ready tonight, but I was arm-wrestling with a new camera that I returned the next day (hated it). So we'll see how they turn out.

I still haven't gotten down there to ride it...I feel dirty! Question - you all say that the scenes aren't in place...but what about the train at the end? Is that not working either?
