Local resident discounts, Orlando

I'm headed to Orlando and staying with a friend who happens to live in Florida. Are the resident discounts at Disney, BGT, and IoA/USF just for the resident or can the resident buy the discounted tickets for guests?

And how is the policy enforced, if at all?

Andy....just cause I like you....does your friend have AAA? I picked up 2 batches of tix for a couple friends last month pre-Fling, and probably saved over 100 bucks. If not, passholders can get discounts for "other tickets", as well as the usual Wendy's/BK discounts, etc., but AAA is one-stop, and you don't have to wait in lines to buy tickets... ;)

Only Disney had *issues* with the ticket user being a FL resident/non-resident, everything else was about 15-20% off...

Coming to Florida? Bring cash.

Does the AAA Florida office offer better deals than other AAA offices? I'm AAA, but in TX, I've only been seeing discounts for a couple bucks here and there.

And how good is Revenge of the Mummy? It's really the only thing I'm remotely interested in at USF, and the extra day would cost a whole lot for just one coaster, especially given that I'll be riding Expedition Everest the day before.
