Dorney Park's proposal to install an inverted roller coaster in place of the old Laser ride was approved in a unanimous vote by South Whitehall Township commissioners Wednesday. Dorney Park's 2012 plan calls for the installation of an "inverted boomerang" coaster to be relocated from a California park owned by parent company Cedar Fair LP.

I'm just shocked that Dorney is now able to get this stuff approved so readily. I remember how it took them YEARS of battling with South Whitehall Township to get Steel Force built. It wasn't quite as bad as what Waldameer had to endure, but it was much the same crap.

Dorney is pretty much a Water Park with rides.. In the summer the water park is slammed all the time and the rides have very limited wait time. So CF is making Dorney a recycle park.. no biggie.. well unless you coaster whores are mad about credits?
No I don't have a kid, but I still want to ride!
^For me, it's not about credits, it's about classic parks and classic rides (like Laser). Hydra was nice, looks nice; Laser was full throttle fun.

I think a lot of that got solved when they added the height overlays to the zoning map. So now there are all these little squares and other shapes on the map showing the maximum elevation any feature could be within those areas. I think also since Dorney is removing something with each ride addition, they can show a net zero effect and get exemptions from traffic studies and the other fun stuff that makes projects drag out.
So any ideas of the name? will they keep it Invertigo? I must say I do love that name! I would love for them to paint it black and red :)
Or Fahrenheit!
Darn, James already one.
After the whole Possessed thing, let's make this a bit easier and just guess which part of speech the name will be: verb, pronoun, preposition...
Well, it is an inverted, so I guess you could call it Dangling Modifier...

Now I have to watch Inglourious Basterds again. Such a great movie.

It's a bit tedious, and has painfully longs scenes, but Inglourious Basterds is way worth every minute. What is done near the end of the film is the most ingenious thing I've ever seen a movie do, and at that moment, one realizes the entire point of the movie.
Watching Inglourous Basterds, the TV gets a lot of use. ;) (Did anyone catch that?)
