Local museum opens rollercoaster !

I was really surprised today, when I saw an advertisement of the S.M.A.K. - a famous Belgian museum in Ghent - in the newspaper.
It showed a rollercoaster !

I immediately rushed to the computer and looked it up...
Apparently, the museum has a new art project by Cia Guo-Qiang. It features two 'works' of him visitors can only see when riding a lazy river and a roller coaster.

The projects are called "An Arbitrary History: Rollercoaster" and "An Arbitrary History: River".

Both are 'custom made' by the artist, so don't ask me when B&M made this ;)

Now if only Six Flags would start taking the hint. Could you imagine mixing art and terror? Turning an amusement park into a giant exhibit? Funnel cakes and espresso!

Mixing art and terror? Disney, Universal, and Busch have been doing that for decades. Funnel cakes and espresso? That combination is available at just about any park in the Pacific Northwest!

Well how about performance artists instead of Mickey Mouse then?
