Loading RCT2 Tracks

I've read the instructions on loading RCT2 tracks and still can not get them to load. I've:

1. Saved the files in C:/Program Files/Atari/Rolller Coaster Tycoon 3/Coaster Designs

2. Opened RCT3 and opened the Coaster Designer

3. Attempted to open one of the files and can not find any.

A quick search yielded no assistance. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, first of all leave all directories alone, if you have coasters on your pc from rct2, rct3 will know I know, I go in the game click on rides then the search icon and have it do an auto search and it automatically updates any rct2 tracks...so use the search feature if not well ...then let us know.

Thanks. I followed your instructions, however, I can not find a search feature. Are you talking about the filter option on the rides window?

Ok, well I wasn't very clear, if you open up the ride buttuns the import tracks should be the last buttion down on the submenu and then when that window opens there should be a maginfying glass that will search your whole comp for all previous RCT1 &2 tracks.
