Lo-Q profit and sales up 17%

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Lo-Q (LON:LOQ) posted bumper profits last year as more people who visited theme parks used its virtual queuing technology. The company said the 17 per cent increase in profits to £2.7 million and 20 per cent increase in revenues to £24.5 million exceeded both its own and the market's expectations. Like-for-like sales rose by 17 per cent, while there was a nine per cent increase to 1.2 million in people at the parks using the company’s virtual queuing products.

I'm going to create new technology to allow people to punch people that they don't like in the face. I expect sales to be very good. ;)

Looks like Philip Whiterow could use a better proofreader. In 4 places the article says, "per cent", when it should actually read, "percent." :-)

You are incorrect. That's the right way to do it for UK English.

Huh. Did not know that. I'm gonna start using per cent like I use Theatre and Colour. :)

Interesting. I never would have read it that way. Thanks for the UK English lesson. :-)

I guess to be more clear, and because I might only be half-right, at the very least it's what the typical press style guides there require. I don't know that it's what they teach in school.

Hi

You need technology for that? On second thought, if there's a way to achieve it without bruising my knuckles, count me in, too.

I too am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

LOL! This new technology will allow you to hurt someone else without getting into trouble. Another amazing feature is that if you use it, it can't be used against you. It's awesome, and I can't wait to put it out there for people to buy.

I'm sure that my point was pretty apparent, which is that I expect sales should skyrocket.

Dude. Make that a premium level feature.

This is getting better and better. Is there an IPO planned for the near future?
