LL a waste?

Ok, let me get this straight: Loopy Landscapes is only going to have like 2 new coasters and like a couple new flat rides? The rest is going to be stalls and theming. This expansion sounds like a waste. I am a roller coaster enthusiast, not a theming enthusiast. I need hypers, gigas, arrowbatics, banked drops, inclined loops, diving loops, thwe works. C'mon Chris Sawyer, give the people roller coasters!!! The game is called RollerCoaster Tycoon for gosh shakes. Who agrees with me???

I would like to see more coasters and everything you said, but LL should still be cool and Im sure Chris Sawyer will add more coasters on future packs.

I think it needs more flat rides and get the height right on all the roller coasters

If you think it'll be a waste, don't buy it. I for one will be happy to get additional scenarios, and there are enough new coaster variations to keep me happy.

I'm guessing Chris would do a Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 before he did another expansion pack. To update on the game engine and such.

It will not be a waste. Themeing is a very important part in any coaster. Many parks have their coaster themed. Such as Alpengeist at Busch Gardens VA. I guess there is a snow landscape on the LL expansion. This will make it more realistic. Besides that, there will be coaster addons. (bigger loops, etc)... So this won't be a waste. Just like Jeff, I am going to buy it. I can't wait to get it!

This pack is definitely not a waste. You get something like thirty new scenarios, a few new coasters and rides, plenty of ride improvements, new scenery, and I saw somewhere that there is a feature in Loopy Landscapes that lets you run a park without worrying about money. Everything in this game type is supposed to be free and you just get to build and have fun. If you don't want it don't buy it, but I am going on the 19th and picking up my copy.

Hey, I for 1 have already ordered it via the net, and can't wait!!!!!!!!!! I too am a coaster enthusiast, but if you take a look at the snow and midevil times themeing and everything else they just blow me away. Plus the 4 across inverted with the large loop, and the new flat rides. Flat rides is my only problem so far, there are hundreds of flat ride possibilites in real life so I'm very glad they're putting more in and I hope they coninute to do so.
Anyways about LL being a waste altogether, The main thing about this game (regardless of it's name) is building and managing a sucsessfull park. And in real life... you're going to go bankrupt within weeks if all you build for a park is coasters and u have nothing that attracts families or other age groups, and no scenery just a bunch of weeds. I don't think anything so far included in rct has been a waste and I don't think this will either.

Vekoma SLC Inverted
Water Coaster
4-Across Inverted Cars

Personally, I think 4 Coasters is an improvement.

What is the diffence between SLC and Inverted anyway.

I am still going to buy it, but Chris Sawyer should have made a RCT 2 instead. He should go on a RC trip around the world and see the different types of flat rides and new coasters such as Intamin MF track.

I don't think LL is going to be a waste. With several new themes available and new types of rides and coasters, playing 30 new scenarios is going to be a blast! Plus, we haven't even heard or seen anything about other rides, and I'm sure that Chris Sawyer has put in several other rides and coasters to surprise us. I'm sure that there will be other rides than the ones we've seen. Just have a little patience and grab a copy of the game when it comes out! I know I am! Peace. :)

Thuust Air, I think, can be muilt to maxium height (61 or 62).

There is a way to put it in the game now. Download the techno-lite trainer from http://techno.danimation.com (I think) and build a vertical roller coaster and use the trainer to get power launched mode and change the cars (with the trainer, too). I can be done!

I'm looking forward to LL. I personally wouldn't care if they added more coasters. I just think they need many more flat rides. Almost every park has a Tilt a Whirl, Paratroopers, Swings, and Music Express. I'd really like to see more flat rides more than anything.
