For those who attended media day, what was the reason why only 1 train was running?

They didn't need more than one.

Yeah, pretty much the difference between a true "media day" and an enthusiast-invite pre-opening.

One train with cameras attached for media filming and live spots and just enough people in attendance to keep the train full for those purposes.

At one point they asked Jeff and I ride back-to-back to keep a full train for filming.

One train was never an issue - this wasn't about getting rides (although you easily could at will) - it was about presenting the ride to the various media outlets.

I’ve heard and seen some enthusiasts that were upset at the no coaster enthusiast group invite. Lol. This is what happens when people act like a$$hats at media events.

They just invite people they can trust.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

One train is generally SOP for a regular media event. Dispatch times are unknown, loose articles are allowed on the platform as long as everyone's behind the exit gate before they give the clear (cameras, microphones etc.). You could stay on the platform and jump in empty seats if you wanted to - but it's difficult to want to do that any real number of times on that ride.

I took plenty of breaks, mingled, talked to people, took photos, had coffee/lunch, edited some photos ph my phone for posting, parked on a bench, and went exploring the queue and taking photos - I still somehow managed to ride that thing about 14 times. I am by no means a power rider, and I was definitely feeling it, but the ride is just so much fun - I'm absolutely hoarse from laughing so hard.

It was also interesting to eavesdrop on all the interviews happening. I was thoroughly impressed with the little man from "Young Scholastic" (or something like that); he had to be around 10 or so, and got all his bases covered, interviewing all the top folks from Cedar Point as well as RMC. I never actually saw him ride; he was too busy working.

On a personal note, it was great finally meeting a lot of you in person.

Here's Gonch and I riding. I was having fun, but I can't roll with the cold like I used to. Because Florida.

Forgive me if we did meet and didn’t get formally introduced, but, did we meet and/or get introduced? Lol I’m horrible with names during bug, exciting events

The bug exciting event isn't until late May when the midges come out.

Oh boy. I pulled a Clint, didn't I?

At least it was still a recognzalbewrd.

I'm also terrible with names in general; compounding that with screen-names makes it even more fun. I (Kevin) was there with my wife (Dawnaka); it's Josh, right? Even more funny if I am completely wrong.

OK, I was 98% sure that's who you were, but I didn't want to assume and look like a moron.

Yeah, I'm Josh. At least you weren't afraid of being completely wrong like I was.

It was really great meeting both of you. Glad everyone turned out to be so cool. It was a really good day.

Likewise. First media day I have had the chance to experience, and we had a great time. It's not every day you start introducing yourself by your real name and a screen-name at the same time. And in my case, I weirdly have two different screen-names on P-Buzz and here. I live a double-life.

Definitely a great day.

I do, as welll. And that’s where I was confused because I remembered you saying your pointbuzz one and thought you said that was here, too. Hopefully we will cross paths again this summer or at the next “big” event.

Come on Josh... You should know, don't you have the T-shirt?
