Ok, I know they bought the coaster from kiddyland, but how much of the original ride are they using? I only see a board from the original ride here and there. I would sy that 95% of the wood is new.

I'd say a lot less than 95% of it is new. Sure looks like a decent chunk of white-ish lumber in those pics.

look at the first picture.

I see maybe 4 pieces of new wood.

OK, then look at the 4th and 8th pictures. I'd say a good 30% or more of that is older/white.

I'm amazed they're using ANY of the original wood. I figured they'd just reuse the hardware and replace ALL of the wood since it will have to be replaced eventually anyway. It's neat seeing a "new" woodie again at that park. It's been a long time.

I'm surprised they are using that much of the old wood! Either way, don't matter to me, I'm just happy Great America is doing such a cool thing! That's a great little ride, and its classic - whats not to love!?

Doesn't surprise me at all. From what I have read or heard, Kiddieland replaced a bunch of wood in the last couple years.

It's going up nicely.
