most good woodie are under 100 feet, to name a few... Phoenix, twister both at Knoebel's, Excalibur at Funtown USA in Maine, Viper at SFGam, Cyclone at SFNE, the list goes on

i find most good steel coasters to be above 100 feet.. but here are a few, Big Bad Wolf at Willaimsburg Busch, Scorpion at Tampa Busch, Jaguar is cool , too

Don't forget Lightnin Racers and Wildcat at Hershey, Roar at SFA, Thunderbolt and Jackrabbit at Kennywood, the Coney Island Cyclone, and of course Raven and Legend at Holiday World. Few woodies over 100 feet seem to really have the magic. (Beast is one of the few that does.) *** This post was edited by Jim Fisher on 8/14/2001. ***

yeah lightning racer is incredible ride, one of my favorite woodie. And Wildcat is one hell of a beast. Legend is taller than 100 feet, I think it is 115 feet.

SFGAm's Whizzer. It's fun going through the little forest while hugging the ground.
Also, all 3 of Big Chief's. Those are awesome, even Pegasus has it's high points (strong laterals).

Cornball Express, awesome woodie CCI wooden coaster at Indiana Beach, and according to CCI, it's a family coaster.

Vapor trail is under 100 feet and is a pretty good coaster although it is very short. Also thunderhawk at Dorney park. It will kick the crap out of you but is fun and under 100 feet tall.

Pretty much everything at Kennywood.

Thunderbolt, Jackrabbit, Racer and Exterminator are all under 100 feet and all great rides.

Roar is only 90 feet and its a really great wooden twister.
