Line Activities

When you're waiting in line for a coaster, what do you do to pass the time? If I'm alone, I usually read what others have written or just look around. If I'm with someone, I talk to them. This year I'm considering bringing a book with me to pass the time.

I tend to first eat everyone in the line, then I ride the coaster. Line goes much faster.

Last year I wore a Millenium Force or Son Of Beast T-shirt when I went to the parks. Everyone who had ridden them wanted to compare notes. Coaster nuts who hadn't ridden wanted to ask questions. It was a great way to strike up a conversation with like minded people.

A couple times, while in line for the Beast at PKI I had my volcano shirt on because I went their in 2000 (I have great luck because I went to CP in 1999, both parks the year before a major new coaster!) and the employee at the height measuring area asked me about the ride.

Sit, talk, look around, talk, drink, whine, wait, then I wait again.

i usually go with a friend so we talk and i try to scare them by saying i heard someone died on this coaster last week and bring a news paper and make up a story about it and they believe me too!

Since I'm usually waiting for rides that have l-o-n-g lines, I just age.

I have this internet contraption on my phone, and I play with that. Or I spout off facts about the coaster to the people I'm with.

I Find decent Ride With A decent line and Get in. stand there and hear my Freinds Crap for 30mins of the way untill i say we are at the point of no return! so stop wining we then Sit on the Railings and talk. then upserve the ride if its visabel then we make freinds if there is any nice peopel around then talk som more then tie our shoes starp our stuff on but our stuff away in our pockets i hold my freinds glasses in my Cedar point Fany Pak then we pick our seats (if we can) wait go on and thats that or if im Alone i just stand there and wacth the ride. untill somone talks to me or i talk to them.

I enjoy talking with people I don't know who are in line. Like Intamin 2K, I also spout out facts about the coaster while waiting!

i tend to spout out facts too, and i'm with friends most of the time so we tell stories about past trips to the park or past rides on the ride we are in line for.

If I'm not mistaken, punk is refering to a nice Safty Dance. That is a realy fun thing to do, LoL. Other than that I sing, talk to people, correct stupid rumors I hear, and watch the ride.
