Lincoln Park NOW

Hey, I want to go to the park in a few days and I need to know how to get there from Providence area...If anyone knows the adress of the park or detailed description it would be appreciated...I want to go there and walk on the coaster and bring a video camera...I want to explore abondoned amusmemt parks in the area...I've already been to the site of the old Crescent Park and its Beutifuly landscaped and only the Carousel remains...But Lincoln park remains the same except old and decrepit...Does anyone have directions or an adress and has anyone visited recently?

Why would you want to go there? I live about fifteen minutes from the place. All there is the coaster. It's not worth it, trust me. There are millions of trees and weeds surrounding it. It's an ugly place that no one takes care of. It's a real shame. I could probably get directions though if you really wanted them.

I drive by there at least once a week. If you have any questions just ask them.

Do you know how to get to Fall River, Westport, or Dartmouth, MA?

There is no address because there is no buildings, just the coaster.

Keep going on I-195 until you enter Westport, MA. Get off at the first exit in Westport ( not sure what number ). Get on route 6 from there and start driving towards New Bedford. After driving on route 6 for a few minutes you will enter Dartmouth, MA. It's right up ahead on the right. You can't miss the coaster.

If these directions aren't good enough ( and they probably aren't ) just tell me.

Yeah, you're right MikeMir, you could do that but Best Buy is past it. Best buy is pretty far past it. That is why I recomended getting off in westport.

You are talking about Best Buy in Dartmouth ( the same town as the park) right?

West is toward Fall River/Westport. If you drive west on route 6 you will pass The Dartmouth Mall and Walmart. Just keep following the road and you will see the coaster on your left.

If you're still confused I would suggest looking at a map because I don't know what else to tell you.
