So you believe that you are studying us, then kindly explain why you are the ones trapped in your seats.
Over at gttp.com they were talking about this and supposably its for the people in sandusky for christmas.
Why does PKI keep the racers lights on. I mean it would be different if you could actually see it good from the parking lot but you can barly see it outside the park.

This is during the big push of season pass sales. Every CF:LP park does this...well at least all of them in the Midwest. (VF, WOF, MiA, CP)

Dorney is dark. I just drove by last night on the way to Wal-Mart (ugh) to check out the construction. They have a star lit up on the top of the SF lift - end of lights.

They light up the park every year around this time.
Yes, they do it for Sandusky as a Christmas present.
The lights are hard to see on the cams.

I drove by Knotts this evening at 11:30, 90 minutes after park closing, and if Xcelerator wasn't lit up like a christmas tree you wouldn't have been able to tell a theme park was there. Not even the signature "K" on the sky cabin or the blue "Knotts" sign on Supreme Scream were lit up, only the beacon lights at the top. As soon as the park closes they shut of the lights. Its understandable though, as we're paying 2X-3X here in CA for energy vs. the midwest. Its quite hard paying $350 a month for energy and gas for a 2100 SF house without Air Conditioning (but a pool). And at knotts they sell A LOT of annual passes this time of year, at least 500-700 a day, enough to make a 1 hr line even with 6 people working in the info office.

In regards to Bryans comeent as a x-mas present, wouldnt it be great if we all woke up with the official announcement under our trees? Now that! would be a VERY merry x-mas indeed!
What would be the point, though? We already know what it is.

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.
1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's
PKI does not keep the Racer chasers on year round.
Why, the last time I drove by (Thanksgiving) the entire park was dark except for the blinking airplane beacons on the Eiffel Tower and Drop Zone, as well as the flashing sign out front.
