Lightning Rod trims?

Assuming a 165 foot drop, and a "normal" max speed of 73, a change of 5 mph in initial launch speed will result in a change of 1.5 mph to the max speed at the bottom. A change of 10 mph in initial launch speed will result in a change of 2.5 mph to the max speed at the bottom. With friction and over the course of the ride those differences would be even smaller.

I claim that nobody is noticing a real difference.

Without doing the math, that's more or less what I suspected...barely enough difference in overall speed to really be noticeable. Which makes the whining on that Facebook post someone shared a few days ago even more hilarious.
