So is this just a clone of the ride in Georgia?

More or less. Notable changes: 8 car trains, single station, no tunnel, "less intense pretzel loop" (however that works).

You must be this dumb to ride Viper. -SFGAdv.

.. I'm not surprised about the loop change. I had several people from in the industry at the IAAPA summer meeting who rode the one at SFoG and they all commented that the loop would need to be changed before they'd see alot of parks wanting one.

I belive that there is more of an arch while entreing the loop, and not that intense... My Next Report will be on Fri when the lfit will be completed.

So is the pretzel loop at SFoG mega intense or something?
Pretty much... the G's just seems to last forever, more than anything else. Although, I don't think it's THAT bad, even for Joe Parkgoer.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Why is people keep asking if it's a clone to the one in Georgia? Last time I checked from since the announcement last year which was like 2 months back, it is a clone.
U still won't know how intense the ride is unless you ride it when it's open to the public. Oh and doesn't the one at Geogria do a turning first drop and the one a great adventure do a half one?
Well I don't believe it... let's what until it is built instead of just believing the whole pretzel loop rumor. Man, you guys are baited easily.

It's Giant, it's Inverted, it's a Boomerang, Beeyatch!

Yeah, really. There's been zero evidence of any sort of "toned down" pretzel loop. I think this is one of those things where someone randomly said something and every enthusiast took it as gospel. Let's wait and see, shall we?

Oh and one other change in SUF is the turn after the pretzel dives toward the ground quicker (meaning it doesn't hang in the air as long) as the SFoG cousin. That's basically it, save for a few support changes.

it looks alot taller then i thought it would look. its just gonna be wierd walkin into to the park around the ride. changes the whole look.

"my mouth, tastes like..emails"

I can't wait to ride this coaster and I can just picture walking to the park and seeing that dominating the entrance instead of it's more unfortunate predecessor. Just think, red, yellow and blue B&M track just waiting to be ridden in just a few more months. I'm definitely going there sometime this summer!!! As for the pretzel loop, I hope that if it will be less intense that they won't sacrafice it's fun or uniqueness for a slight bit of comfort. Anythings got to be better then Shockwave's 3rd loop, I had a headache when I got off that thing.

I'm still curious about this whole eight/seven car thing. Why are thay adding the eigth car? Is it for capacity? I'm not against it or anything, just confusedon why...

BTW, can't wait till opening day =D

Its because they aren't going to have two stations so they put a extra car in to help out. I think it would be better like this, more capacity, and speed.
