Libertyland in Memphis, TN

How many people have been there and is the park worth going to?  I thought that the Zippin Pippin (oldest operating roller coaster in North America, 2nd oldest in the world) was great for its age! (opened in 1915 I believe)

The 32 acre park has 2 coasters, the Pippin and the Revolution(Arrow looper). The Pippin used to be the oldest rollercoaster in America until Leap the Dips was rebuilt. It's a nice compact out and back that is pretty intense.

*TIP* ride in the front car, on the hills the car pops up off the track about an inch or two...very exciting!

The Revolution is quite smooth for an Arrow Looper. 3 inversions(Loop, cork, cork)

Libertyland also has a decent selection of older and newer flats, including a Kamikaze (I think it was made by Preston Amusements), a "Tidal Wave" (which appears to be a smaller version of a Top Spin), a Tilt-A-Whirl, Round-Up, an old Reverchon Himalaya, an Eli Ferris Wheel, and a beautiful Carousel built in or around 1909. There's also a pretty good flume ride called Old Hickory.

I enjoyed Libertyland when we visited back in 1990.  I haven't been back to Memphis since, but when I do return, Libertyland will definitely be on my list.
