Lets talk about Vampire!

I was just surfing RCDB and came across Vampire at Chessington and I was wondering what everyone thinks about its renovation. I think it will be really cool to have a Arrow Suspended with floorless trains.

Hey, this is cool stuff! I wonder how they are going to do this? Has anyone peeped the trains?

Perhaps we'll see similar projects elsewhere if this goes well...

"I'll bet that thing hits 5 Gs going through that loop.....faaar ooouut!"

Please, someone do this to Iron Dragon. The turn over the fog and fountains would feel a lot more thrilling. (could they have made it one big lift?)
I'm wondering about suspendeds like TopGun at PKI. It looks great from the pics and isn't their only coaster with no floor the Face-Off?
Edit: wouldn't one of those trains be nice right here: http://rcdb.com/installationgallery73.htm?Picture=1

I think it will definately add something to the ride experience.  You won't destroy the view, since there's not much anyway other than the front seat.  It will definately give a fun sensation and at least give the ride a reason to have OTSRs.  I hope all suspendeds will get them and it would be a good addition for a park if they aren't building a new coaster or adding many flats (but then again, there aren't that many suspendeds out there anyway).  I would love to see this retrofit to all the suspendeds I've ridden (Iron Dragon, Top Gun & Ninja).

Bigkirby, they also have Rugrat's Runaway Reptar as an inverted.

Well I think some (one or two) should stay with floors because it would become impossible to experience it again. Big Bad Wolf would do really good with this retrofit because of all the tunnels and thing but at least one should stay with a floor because with and without should be totally different expeiences

I agree floorless trains would make these much more re-ridable. I look forward to some getting retrofitted here in the US.
Vekoma trains on an Arrow coaster? If Arrow are in such financial trouble, why allow another manufacturer to interfere with your product? And I'll be a bit sad to see the old trains go, they were really well themed. How can a floorless train possibly match up to those bats??

Its not up to arrow what the park does with their own coaster.

Father Lucifer, you never looked so sane. You did always did prefer the drizzle to the rain
Oh, but good idea.  At an ACE convention it would be great if we could get everyone in the train to pedal their legs like a bike, or something.  That would look quite humorous.

No, actually, it isnt. the new "Runaway Reptar" is floorless, and I'm pretty sure that Scooby Doo-themed coaster (name?) is floorless, too...

How about SOB with anything but those pitiful trains! :) (I suppose it could be worse...they could have shoulder restraints!)

With the new trains here (Vampire), the newly announced backwards seating on AE @ SFGAm, the retro-fits on the Premiers, and potentially revised trains on V2 @ SMFW, it's nice to see all these coasters getting "adjustments" to the rider experience.  Kinda reminds me of the coaster in Japan that has two trains, one sit-down and one stand-up...and after seeing the Griswolds riding Revolution with lapbars today, my hatred of OTSRs has been renewed...
