Lesourdsville Lake opening date

Your best bet is to call the park, I had been given a opening date of June 6th on two occations but now I am hearing from some that the park is telling them either June 6th or 13th.

The number is below in my sig. I will not be able to check myself till thursday as I am working 32 of the next 48 hrs to have time off for SRM!

I was *hoping* to hop on over the night before CBCon....some of us live too far away to go "whenever it opens"...:(

bill, keeping on hoping for the earlier date...and thinking I really do need to win the lottery and get a "summer home" in PA/OH....

I will be calling within the upcoming week myself. Thanks for the info. I am trying everything I can to get there on opening day, but with other events going on (most notably work, Coastermania, and other parks in Indy that weekend) I may have to wait till later in June.

It confirms what Chuck said above the opening is either June 6 or 13th The article also gives a brief history of the park, with a sidebar column on the Screechin Eagle.

Hooray for the reopening of LL! Screechin' Eagle was my first coaster, way back in the early 1970's (pre King's Island) . Can't wait to get back on it (especially since its' future was looking bleak a year ago.)
