In celebration of the 1-Year anniversary of Twisted Rails, several new photo galleries will be added to the site. The first one is of Legoland California.
Two coaster videos are included in the update. One is a first person POV video of the Technic Test Track, a very well themed Wild Mouse style coaster. The second is a dueling first person POV video of Spellbreaker.

You've gotta love Blocko-Land, I mean, Legoland. :) When I saw one of the cars for the Test Track at IAAPA last year, I was seriously impressed. Great theme!

Thanks Karl! Ever since Legoland down under closed, I've really missed it. LLC looks great, I had no idea Spellbreaker has twin tracks/rails, nor that it has vertical lifts.
Lego & coasters have been a very good combination to me over the years. Here are the results; www.yourphotos.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_public_album&aid=5348&album_name=Model%20Coasters I have plans for building a TA2K some other time.

Blocko-Land? Nice Simpsons reference, Jeff!
Almost as good as the episode with the "Tooth-Chipper" coaster!

This place is just incredible! I love MiniLand, and those vehicles are awesome. If you grew up with Legos (I STILL love them!) this is the place to go! I wonder if they'll do a Star Wars themed area......I can dream can't I? :)

Techno Track looks really fun! It's cool to see a customed designed wild mouse.

I have never been to this park before so I was wondering. The pics of Miniland show a replica of New York City. Did they have replicas of the WTC towers? I didnt notice them in the pics so if they had them, were they removed?
"The Peoples Elbow" or "The Spinaroonie?. Cant decide which is the most electrifying move in sports entertainment!!! LOL

They never had replicas of the WTC towers in Miniland, and the photos were taken before the attacks. I did read somewhere that shortly after the attacks, Legoland rebuilt all of their Lego American flags at half-staff.
