Thought you'd like to know that the two PTC trains have arrived at Holiday World--and they're gorgeous!
We're running them more or less non-stop--and already the speed matches mid-season 2001.
You might be able to catch a peek on our webcam--I moved it to show the lifthill (rather than all the excitement in our parking lot). The URL is www.holidayworld.com.
A reminder that time is running out to register for SRM if you want to order a t-shirt. As long as I get your order by the end of the week, we'll be fine.
Thanks, Paula

So, here's the real question...How do the new cars ride? C'mon, Paula, fess up... We know you've ridden them!

Thanks Paula....this will be our second SRM. Considering Legend's layout, I'm thinking the PTCs will be a BIG improvement - and that Jeff H. is already "tweaking" trains and track to get those trains back to the station as quickly as possible...:).
Thanks also for moving the web-cam Paula ....you are the enthusiasts favorite on-line park employee!!!

Sorry, just the bags of corn are riding at this point. We don't ride until the State Ride Inspector does his thing--on Wednesday, I think.
Don't worry--I'll post something after I ride!

but those cars that were shown at the IAAPA trade show last year with the halloween theming would have been perfect for this coaster wouldn't you all agree?
Not me! I wanted them to follow the color scheme of the original trains. So gorgeous. Plus now I don't have to shoot new video and slides for PR!

I agree with Paula. I like the Puprle trains with the flame accents much better than those Halloween PTC's.
Can't wait!

Paula, if this breaks some kind of copyright (didn't see one) then please let me know and I'll take it down ASAP.
Otherwise, enjoy!

I wonder how those bags of corn are holding up. With the way The Legend runs, I can only imagine corn all over the park!!! Bet some birds (esp. an eager Raven) are fattening up.

We'll probably be able to harvest some ears of corn this summer! We had a bunch in 2000; I meant to gather them in the fall to use at No Coaster Con, but I plumb forgot!
