Layout of Knott's new MACK GmBH free-spinning train coaster

A coaster like this won't take very long to "pop" into place. If it is anything like the Gerstlauer ones then it will go up pretty quick.

I think we're also misrepresenting what happened in the Maverick thread. I haven't gone back and re-read the thing but I don't really recall "tons of pissed off" people. Maybe I'm wrong.

^ I could be wrong, too - I just seem to remember a LOT of complaining. Now that I think about it, it might have been more on PointBuzz.

Most of the "complaints" were something along the lines of "that can't be it!! it's not 500 feets!"

Honestly, I'm excited to get out to Knott's for this ride. That, and I miss XCelerator.

Josh - You should head out there in March. I think you know someone heading out that way to hit up Knott's.

This Coaster looks pretty good. Great idea nice layout etc. Convenient since I plan on buying a Maxx pass so just another bonus eh?

As for the Screamscape thing goes. Screamscape is usually not very reliable but I have to say I believe this one.

Why is anyone still questioning? This picture was taken at Mack's booth...at IAAPA!...it's for real.

I think in most places you can get arrested for leaking to the public... or is that taking a leak in public? :)
