Launch coasters
why must they all be short inverters? why not launch us at 70 and then do an S:ROS course. Hyper launches...
I think he meant replacing the first drop with the launch. Right?

Hulk is not all that short, from what I have heard.

Hulk is a good 2 minutes long. The lift/launch is really something to experience! I think that it would lose something if it wasn't enclosed though (the lift hill that is). Seeing the train flying out the top looking like it's being shot out of a cannon is pretty neat. I think they fixed that Neg-G thing of the top of the hill by putting in the zero-G roll. Most other coasters that would try this type would probably do the same.

California Screamin' (DCA) is a launched, has a "standard" first hill (no zero g roll) and has a track length of over 6000 feet, correct me if I'm wrong.
I have talked to a friend who is a cast member at Disneyland, he has not yet ridden, but this coaster is done and has been tested with other cast members. He says that the other cast members say that it is a fun ride, but how many of them are enthusiasts?

i meant replace first drop with launch, and hulk is the exception, but i clocked it at under a minute, but hulk was built that way because IOA has bad height restrictions, it need some extra oomph, i geuss...

Hulk is a great coaster. It is very smooth. The first drop on it is one of the best.
