Last Day of July Trip to SFNE !

Well today was my first visit to the park since april and the park still remains great! In fact the only thing i didnt like last time (every single employee saying the happy anniversary spiel) is now gone, only the occasional few said it, much to my enjoyment.

Anyway a little bone to pick....About the park closing @ 9...

I noticed the sign @ the parking booth but didn't think anything of it, then my Q-bot vibrated saying return @ 9 and that threw me off a bit, and then at 830 i hear that the park is closing in a half hour, I was not very happy, as last week i checked the site and it was 10-10 but 3 days notice is appearantly enough...

Someone may want to fix the park hours here on the site...

But yea besides that, everything was great today, over all day was 9/10

Rode everything i wanted and everything was open. Timewarp went down for a little bit and thats all i noticed, pretty impressive. Superman started w/ only red train but eventually blue was added, a mechanic was working on it when i arrived back at the station from the FIRST TRAIN OF THE DAY! ! !

ANYWAY, so heres the rides i went on today, ill start in order then trail off

S:RoS: 1 then 2 trains, and ran great, 10/10...awesome as always... Around 830 the que was almost full, i was quite suprised...

Scream Running two towers and quickish loading, great ride as well 9.5/10

Thunderbolt - 8/10, awesome ride n quick loading but the ride appearance wise, its just bad. The blue train doesnt even have complete lightning bolts on side, and the ride itself looks like its about to collapse...

Twister - Lots of flips in beginning which was cool but they really should clean this ride up, a lot of lights out and the roof of the building has a whole bunch of crap on top, just looks messy.

Buzzsaw looks great i must say

Mind Eraser- Rode once, had a break down atleast once i believe as once i walked by and it looked as if the que was walking back to the midway....but both trains ran when it was open and did the head thing and had a decent ride, still intense though. 8/10

Batman .... Paint and ride itself still looks great but the ride expirience, ouch. After that zero G which is great the ride turns into mind eraser except leaning your head doesnt work on this ride, both times i walked off with a head ache after riding, its gotten really bad it seems, to me atleast...

We spent lots of time in water park and it was fun but lines were long but we got on some slides and went in many of the pools and had a good time, i LOVE the lazy river, next time i mite just get a blue raft and float around all day long, its pretty fun. Wanted to ride Typhoon but the line was huge all day...

Back to the park, Splash Water Falls, rode twice and it was fun but didnt get wet, except when we got shot w/ the water guns... Ride itself is pretty good if you dont like getting wet but the line crawls and is in the sun...And beneath the ride its turning into a mud put with all the water that falls down, its not looking to good...

Tomahawk, fun but seems very intense today, made 2 of the people i went w/ a bit ill afterwards....

Rodeo - Only my second time ever on it and i know why, its kinda boring...

Houdini - GREAT NEWS in the first room Everything seems to be working, chains and everything and its awesome, a few lights out though....BAD NEWS much to my chagrin, they left the lights on above the skylight in the ride room and you could tell the room was spinning as the lights kept coming out of view, someone really messed up on that and ruined the rides effect.

Shipwreck Falls, Fun ride, we got pretty wet too, but that water doesnt look very good...

Mr Six - rode once and it was very fun but friends thought it was boring, but i really like it alot

Blizzard River - Open and awesome. Lots of mist and rode twice and everyone got soaked both times, and its running great, love this ride..

Cyclone - Rode in 3rd row and felt that its become rougher then in april. Last trim definitly on and first i couldnt tell, but it just seems very rough and out of control at all times, exciting but frightening, and they really did a good job hiding the old drop...

Catapult - Rode for first time ever finally and liked it even better the second time. But those restraints, wow they hurt like hell. Fun but short ride though

Food:

We ate @ Big Bens and friends didnt like it too much but i love that place and I enjoyed it, no sausage so got hot dog instead w/ my platter...

Got kettle corn right before leaving, last medium, and eating it now as i write this. Love the value!

Gelati - Awesome deal compared to other things. Very filling for $5.24

Friends + Brother got philly cheese Steaks after and liked them alot. I recomended them...

Dippin dots, awesome as always....Friend told me theres a mall near me that sells something like dippin dots in a vending machine, anyone know more?

Staff - All crews we're good and no issues with any. Many interacted w/ the guest which is really nice. Park is more friendly over all but no more asians in parking lot directing cars??

Park was spotless as was all restrooms. Cant remember anything bad, except the bouling hot cement in Hurricane Harbor...
